Caldwell ID 4th of July ParadeA wonderful, small town family gathering of Americans getting together to celebrate the beginning of this original, daring idea to escape tyranny and to establish freedom to all members of this tiny nation, and to grow to welcome new citizens who wish to be free from nations worldwide. All these historical years were faced with many successes as well as many trials and tribulations. Many of which we continue to be challenged with even today. Our great nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and establish freedom of religion to all. The celebration began with a parachutist landing in Memorial Park here in Caldwell to uproarious applause and screams from adults and children alike.

The parade route was crowded with cheering families and friends welcoming floats carrying all branches of our military including the veterans of World War II and the Korean War plus vets from Viet Nam War.

There were festivities after the parade including many for children and adults alike. Vendors everywhere and even a car show with many fine old local classic cars. And of course there were fantastics fireworks in the dark skies coming from Brothers Park…..
