If you missed the crowd-pleasing DANCE IS CRINGE at Treefort back in March, you’re in luck. Boise dance company LED, which Dance Magazine listed as one of 2020’s “25 to Watch,” is bringing the popular show back on August 19th and 20th.
LED describes the show as “a Performance Art/Roving Experience that pushes the boundaries of dance, collaboration, experience, and spectacle,” and asks, “Do you feel sexy, passionate, empowered and alive when you dance? Or does the act of dancing, the thought of dancing, or even just watching someone dance make you cringe? Follow this cult of personality on a journey to a ‘dance utopia.’ You might just drink the Kool-Aide and join the movement.”
