Provisions for COVID-19 were made, and all health regulations were supported with yellow wristbands indicating a COVID-free attendance.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-5241\" src=\"https:\/\/theboisebeat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/DSC_6427-2-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"The GOV performing at the Idaho Potato Drop\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" \/>With EMCEE <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/4ustinvon\/\">Austin Von Johnson<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/iamyeti\/\">Yeti Abides<\/a> guiding the crowd into 2022, the stage burst into musical activity with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boiserockschool.com\/\">Boise Rock School<\/a> playing several popular Beatles songs, followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/highpinewhiskeyyell.com\/\">High Pine Whisky Yell<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lucidaisle\/\">Lucid Aisle<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/andrewsheppard.bandcamp.com\/\">Andrew Sheppard<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thegov.bandcamp.com\/\">The GOV<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cassandralewismusic.com\/\">Cassandra Lewis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">With fresh snow on the ground and temperatures below cold, everyone huddled near each other and the many fire pits to keep warm and dance the new year in. Justin Kennedy showed off his talent with several flips through the sky after being launched into the air by a high speed wench, and the Wrestle Club challenged each other in their mobile wrestling ring. As midnight and the beginning of 2022 began, Cassandra Lewis stunned the <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-5237\" src=\"https:\/\/theboisebeat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/DSC_6314-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"Skiing at the Idaho Potato Drop\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>audience with one of the most difficult songs to perform ever, Pink Floyd\u2019s The Great Gig in the Sky. Perhaps it was her brave way of helping us all sign off to three difficult years in America and saying goodbye to these challenging days, reminding us that it\u2019s time to reconnect and disavow division, and as The Boise Rock School sang earlier in the event, to Come Together Right Now, which is a Beatles song in support of reunion.
