And there was barely a chair to be found when lights dimmed for the start of the 7-film session.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"_Hlk100230243\"><\/a>The Lineup:<\/p>\n<p>Scam Likely (comedy)<\/p>\n<p>The Orange Candidate (documentary\u2026well, you decide)<\/p>\n<p>Gottaroli (documentary)<\/p>\n<p>Little Creep (animation)<\/p>\n<p>Cylinder Days (animation)<\/p>\n<p>Meet Daddy (comedy)<\/p>\n<p>Our Mine (tragicomedy)<\/p>\n<p>The audience responded with laughs and chatter to \u2018Scam Likely,\u2019 \u2018Meet Daddy,\u2019 and \u2018The Orange Candidate,\u2019 and directors and actors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm2557971\/?ref_=tt_ov_dr\">Collin Insley<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm4162416\/?ref_=tt_ov_st\">Marc Ewins<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm9556253\/?ref_=tt_ov_st\">Elliot Norton<\/a> of \u2018Scam Likely;\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ryanweibush.org\/\">Ryan Weibush<\/a> of \u2018The Orange Candidate;\u2019 and Paul K Oh of \u2018Meet Daddy\u2019 were on hand for a fun post-screening Q&amp;A session. Collin Insley\u2019s dry sense of humor created delightful confusion, making him a filmmaker to follow for this indie film lover.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5433 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/theboisebeat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/OurMine_FilmPoster-237x300.png\" alt=\"Filmfort 2022 Our Mine\" width=\"237\" height=\"300\" \/>The brightest, wackiest, and weirdest of the bunch, however, is arguably \u2018Our Mine.\u2019 Pitched as ecofeminist tragicomedy, it is a brilliant expression of creativity written and directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shaynastrype.com\/?lightbox=dataItem-irc6msdg\">Shayna Strype<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Strype describes herself as an \u201cinterdisciplinary artist working in film, animation, live performance, and puppetry,\u201d and \u2018Our Mine\u2019 puts all of it on full display. From my seat at the back of the room, I couldn\u2019t help but watch the audience watch the film. We were all all in.
