As I sit on Easter Sunday<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With thoughts of days gone by<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This the first in quarantine<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The rules steadfast complied<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But this year seems a little different<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With dreams of loved ones past<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So easy to self-isolate<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To feel hard winds against the mast<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To exist as only one alone<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On a sea rough, loud and dark<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Not a light up in the endless sky<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A solitary Ark<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Just as Noah did before us<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Against all mounting odds<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Just as David fought for his and more<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Against men resembling Gods<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We look to valiant heroes<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We must remain in virtue golden<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We must keep steady on the task<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To seek and to acknowledge<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our single greatest strength<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our own forthright willpower<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To go the distance full in length<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
