Shaun B and Jukebox Productions pair up to ring in the New Year with a pair of special events at the Sapphire Room NYE, December 31. The evening is presented by the RIX Entertainment Group.
Not just a music show, this spectacular NYE event includes dinner, a champagne toast and a party favor to bring in a brand new, healthier and happier 2022 for everyone. The evening is produced by Rick Oliver’s RIX Entertainment Group. Rick has been busy this year working on over 30 events, handling acts such as Clint Black, Lainey Wilson and Parmalee as part of the Expo Idaho Summer Concert Series. Rick is also active with the Boise Hive, a charitable organization recently profiled in The Boise Beat, that helps up and coming local musicians with recording and practicing space, as well as providing rehabilitation and counseling for musicians that have needs such as addiction rehabilitation and career counseling.
For his last two shows of the year, Rick is bringing nationally acclaimed vocalist and instrumentalist Shaun B; plus local favorites  John Pisano and Jukebox Productions.
Shaun B grew up with music and started singing in his church choir very early, channeling his talents into performing. Shaun Brazell started out his professional music career as a drummer in Oxford, England. Learning a variety of instruments and also blending his singing talents into the mix.Shaun B is one of those performers that is best enjoyed live, performing in places as varied as Boise’s Sapphire Room, Harvelle’s in Long Beach, the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip and many more. New Years Eve will be a special time to see him perform.
Jukebox Productions has been a fixture on the Boise music scene for about a year now. Utilizing a stellar blend of vocalists, they are able to bring their covers of many of the top songs from the 70s to the 90s and even up though the 2000s to life. R&B, Hip Hop/Rap, Pop, Rock—Jukebox has the perfect mix of the tunes you love, music that’s great for a NYE party.
To accommodate all the guests who want to see the show, RIX Entertainment Group has set up two performances of Shaun B and Juke Box Production’s NYE Celebration. They are at either 6-8:30pm or 9-12am. The 6:30pm show tickets are $92 for general admission and $97 for preferred seating. Each ticket for Shaun B and Juke Box Production’s NYE Celebration that is purchased includes a plated dinner with choice of entrees. The choices are:
- -Bacon Wrapped Chicken: Chicken stuffed with fig, prosciutto, and basil wrapped in bacon and served with a savory Port cardamom and nutmeg cream sauce served with roasted butternut squash puree, mashed potatoes, and roasted Brussel sprouts in a wine bacon sauce
- -Beef Medallions: Smoked tender medallions of beef with charred leak and roasted mushrooms, parsnip puree, roasted tomato and madeira demi glaze, barley, honey carrot puree, and roasted Brussels sprouts in a wine bacon sauce
- -Imam Bayildi: Roasted eggplant filled with Moroccan rice, roasted tomatoes, peppers, garlic, and fresh herbs served atop a shakshuka tomato sauce
Also included with each ticket are a New Year’s Party Favor and a Champagne Toast. This is a 21 and older event. There is also available the Sapphire Room’s renowned full Bar that will be open throughout the evening.
The late show, 9pm-12am, is available only as a complete New Year’s Extravaganza. Of course, the Sapphire Room and the Riverside Hotel have also put NYE together as a way to enjoy a complete getaway, so you can enjoy NYE without having to drive.
